Hours of Service Transportation is available Monday – Friday. Appointments should be made between 9:00am – 2:00pm if possible. Appointments for persons living in outlying areas should be made between 10:00am – 1:00pm in order to give us time to get to your home for pickups. NOTE:Residents living in outlying areas may need to be ready 3 hours prior to appointment. Dialysis patients with early, late or Saturday appointments may make special arrangements with us. NO Service is available on Major Holidays. Scheduling Your Trip You can reserve your trip with Marion Transit Services as early as two weeks in advance, but not later than 72 hours in advance. Shopping Schedule Information on our scheduled shopping trips can be obtained by calling our reservation line: (352) 620-3071 Payment For Services FARE: $1.00 - $5.00 one way depending on location and eligibility. Cash or Pass will be accepted for fare payment. Fare must be paid upon boarding the vehicle. Drivers CANNOT make change. Waivers for Fare may be obtained for qualified individuals by calling: (352) 620-3071 in advance. Trip Cancellations If you will not need to use your scheduled trip, please call us to cancel as soon as possible at: (352) 620-3071 No Shows Passengers who make reservations and are not available for pickup within five minutes after van arrives to pick you up will be considered a “NO SHOW”. After three No-Shows, your transportation service may be suspended for 30 days. ADA Transportation is provided in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. |
